Details of the tour
The tour kicks off at noon inside The Vintage Theatre at 119 Penn Ave in Downtown Scranton. The tour guides welcome fans with a video created by local NBC affiliate, WBRE, featuring fun behind-the-scenes interviews with cast members. After a few words from our guest speakers and other fun-tivities, fans are escorted across the street to see the now infamous "Scranton Welcomes You" sign inside The Mall at Steamtown. We then hit the buses by 1 p.m.
The tour itself includes a family style lunch at Cooper's where fans have a chance to try a fresh beet salad that would even make Dwight smile with delight. Other sites and drive-by photo opportunities on the tour include The Scranton Times-Tribune, Farley's, The Bog, Paper Magic, Mifflin Avenue, the Penn Paper Building, the Scranton Chamber of Commerce, Scranton City Hall, he University of Scranton, Lake Scranton, the Radisson Lackawanna Station hotel, Alfredo's Pizza (NOT Pizza by Alfredo!) and much more.
